Despite his film degree and credits as an actor/writer/director in a smattering of short films, Alex Harbolt (aka Heads or Heads) keeps music as his primary focus career-wise.
Born and raised in rural Missouri, Harbolt currently calls Kansas City, MO his home base from which he creates his music inside his midtown studio apartment.
Heads or Heads’ new single “What You Want” showcases a six-month long production process and evolution in style from his first and second albums. Written and recorded over the second half of 2020, the single melds psychedelic rock and indie pop into a shimmering, dreamy mixture.
While touring remains a priority as soon as it is safely possible, Heads or Heads plans to continue to record and release new music in the interim.
